About the Exhibition
The art exhibition “Ukraine: Between Light and Fire” is dedicated to the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia. The presented works are an artistic interpretation of the events experienced by the country—pain of loss, strength of spirit, and hope for peace.
The exhibition features 43 works by 19 artists. It impresses with a wide variety of artistic techniques and styles. The works are created using pastel, watercolor, oil painting, graphic art, and artistic photography.
In their works, the artists interpret the themes of light and fire in different ways. Some express the pain and emotional impact of war through powerful imagery and contrasting colors, while others use symbolism to speak about hope and faith in the future. Despite differences in style and technique, all works are united by love for Ukraine and a desire to preserve light and humanity even in difficult times.
