The emergence of such an annual publication in the city has become a natural continuation of the development of local historical research through its dissemination in printed form. The programmatic goals of the almanac are to reconstruct an objective picture of the historical past of the region, familiarize the public with the cultural heritage of the area, and explore little-known pages of both ancient and modern history. The publication is intended for archaeologists, historians, museum professionals, local historians, and all those interested in the ancient past and history of Horishni Plavni and the Middle Dnipro region.
